Lusid levelling up this month!
Happy third birthday to Lusid. It's been a rollercoaster ride these past three years. There were times where the roller-coaster was climbing up and we weren't sure how to keep up with demand, lows of not being able to operate through covid and adverse changes to the economy. At times we thought the rollercoaster would stop but then would change direction and continue to roll through the bumps along the way. We are so appreciative to be still on the Lusid journey to share hair confidence in a plastic free way for all hair structures.
To celebrate Lusid's 3rd birthday we have refreshed our website. We hope you like the new Lusid look. We have also launched this month our NEW Detangling Leave-In Conditioner. This product has been in the pipeline for quite some time, with delays thanks to the Auckland lockdown, price increases across ingredients, packaging, cost of production and logistics. We are now super happy to finally have this available for purchase and cannot wait to see difference it makes for the hair of our Lusid customers. We love this product and I really hope you will love it too.
This 2-1 detangles and conditions without rinsing. It offers a lot of slip to detangle but it is still light enough to secure bounce for those with curls. It's also children friendly and made with organic and vegan ingredients.

To enable Lusid to continue to operate through these tough times we have had to make some changes to our business. It is with sadness that we officially say goodbye to our beloved founder of Lusid, Tash Brooks. Tash has resigned from Lusid to continue to focus on the growth of The Curly Bar; a natural hair salon in Tāmaki Makaurau. Tash and her team pride themselves on bringing guests the very best in inclusive textured hair care, with a focus on environmental, social, and ethical sustainability.
Words cannot do justice to express the Lusid journey we have been on. I have learnt so much from Tash and appreciate all that she has done for Lusid. Lusid would not exist if it wasn't for Tash's attempt to cater to my FOMO and I am extremely grateful to have the opportunity to develop and grow Lusid from a start up to a household name. We wish this extremely talented super mum all the best for the future and can't wait to see what you do next.
